This Subscription & Billing Policy ("Policy") governs the terms and conditions under which users subscribe to, pay for, manage, and interact with billing-related features of postlii.ca. By subscribing to any plan or service on postlii.ca, you acknowledge and agree to all terms outlined below.
This Policy is legally binding and functions in conjunction with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Refund & Billing Policy, and Content Licensing Policy.
1. Subscription Plans & Access
We offer a range of digital subscription plans, including:
- Monthly Plans: Billed every 30 calendar days
- Annual Plans: Billed every 365 calendar days
- Trial or Free Plans: Limited feature access, no obligation
- Promotional Plans: Custom terms based on offers, bundles, or time-limited discounts
- Enterprise or Team Plans: Custom solutions for brokerages or teams (by quote only)
What plans determine
Each plan determines the scope of access to tools such as template libraries (e.g. social, video, listings, seasonal), scheduling and auto-posting features, branding and customization options, number of team members or seats allowed, and template download and export limits.
Subscription licenses are for individual use only, unless you are explicitly on a plan that permits team or brokerage-level sharing. Account sharing across individuals or businesses is strictly prohibited.
2. Billing Cycles & Auto-Renewal
2.1 Auto-Renewal Terms
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. Your card or selected payment method will be charged at the end of your current monthly or annual billing cycle for the full amount of the plan unless you downgrade or cancel in advance.
2.2 Notification
- You will not receive prior notice before billing unless legally required (e.g. EU or California users)
- It is your responsibility to monitor billing dates and update billing credentials in time
- We recommend exporting receipts monthly for recordkeeping
3. Accepted Payment Methods
Payments must be made via valid credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, etc.), PayPal (if available), or other gateways provided during checkout.
We do not accept manual wire transfers, e-transfers or direct deposits, or post-dated payments or pay-later agreements.
All billing data is encrypted and securely processed by third-party payment processors (e.g. Stripe, PayPal). postlii.ca does not store raw card data.
4. Plan Upgrades, Downgrades & Feature Changes
4.1 Upgrading
- If you upgrade mid-cycle, your account will be charged a prorated amount for the time remaining in your billing period
- Upgrades are instant and will grant you access to the new plan's features immediately
4.2 Downgrading
- Downgrades apply at the end of your current billing cycle
- No refunds or credits are issued for unused time on a higher-tier plan
- Downgrading may result in feature limitations or loss of access to downloaded templates, team seats, or premium integrations
4.3 Feature Adjustments
We may periodically add, remove, or modify plan features. If materially impacted, you will receive notice and have the option to adjust your subscription accordingly.
5. Cancellations
You may cancel anytime by logging into your dashboard, navigating to your billing settings, and clicking "Cancel Plan" and following the prompts.
Important
postlii.ca reserves the right to cancel or suspend your account at any time for violation of our Terms, fraud, or abuse.
- Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund (see Refund Policy)
- Your plan remains active until the end of the billing term
- After cancellation, you will lose access to premium content once your billing term ends
- All scheduled posts beyond the billing date will be deleted unless exported in advance
6. Failed Payments & Grace Periods
If a payment fails:
- We will retry your payment method automatically up to 3 times
- You will receive email notifications on each failed attempt
- A 5-day grace period will be granted to update your billing information
If unresolved
Your subscription will be downgraded to a free tier (if available); access to premium features, downloads, and scheduling will be suspended; and all scheduled content may be deleted permanently.
7. Refunds — Strict Conditions
Refunds are not provided unless you meet the eligibility under our Refund & Billing Policy, which includes:
- Requesting a refund within 7 calendar days of the original charge
- Having not used, downloaded, exported, or shared any template or design
- Having not connected any social account or automation feature
- Providing a signed declaration of non-use if requested
Not eligible for refunds
Refunds will be denied if any disqualifying actions are detected.
- Forgetting to cancel your plan
- Not using your subscription
- Changing your mind after access
8. Taxes
All prices are shown in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are exclusive of applicable taxes. Depending on your region, the following may apply:
- Canada: HST/GST based on province
- United States: State sales tax (if required)
- Europe/Other: VAT or other required digital services tax
Tax responsibility
You are responsible for paying any taxes imposed on the sale or use of services.
9. Promotional Offers & Trials
From time to time, postlii.ca may run promotional offers including discounted plans for a limited period, bonus templates or assets, and affiliate/referred user bonuses.
Promotion terms
We reserve the right to alter or revoke promotions without notice.
- Promotions are one-time and non-renewable unless stated otherwise
- You must cancel before promotion ends to avoid full renewal billing
- Using multiple emails or accounts to abuse trials may result in permanent ban
10. Invoices, Receipts & Payment History
You can access invoices and billing history from your account dashboard. If you need tax ID or business details on your invoice, PDF receipts for accounting, or a custom billing agreement for enterprise use, contact us at info@postlii.ca with your request.
Invoices cannot be retroactively changed once issued.
11. Chargebacks & Disputes
Filing a chargeback without first contacting support is considered a violation of our Terms.
If you initiate a dispute, your account may be suspended during investigation; you may lose access to all templates, files, and billing records; and postlii.ca may submit evidence of service delivery, access logs, and usage to fight false claims.

12. Modifications to This Policy
This Subscription & Billing Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by a new effective date. Material changes may be communicated to users via email or notification banners.
Your continued use of postlii.ca confirms your acceptance of any policy changes.
